Nathan Walsh is an artist specializing in photorealist cityscapes, born in 1972 in Lincoln, UK. It belongs to a new generation of artists who are extending the boundaries of realist painting. His paintings show an ambitious project combining photographic source material with traditional techniques of artistic representation. Fascinated by the city, its visual complexity and the state of constant flux, Nathan begin to describe a concrete form within his picture plane by using simple mathematical ratios and begins to draw buildings, manipulating their height, width or their nature in relation to other pictorical elements and create pieces with a incredible perspective, where the viewer can enter into and move around.
