Lorenzo Oggiano is an Italian artist born in Padua in 1964. He works in photography, video, new media, installations and assemblages. He graduated in visual arts at the University of Bologna (DAMS) with a thesis on the relationship between the arts and new technologies: contemporary art and technology of interaction: the bodies of mutation. Since the early nineties Lorenzo is engaged in an artistic and theoretical research concerning the biological, sensorial and cognitive mutations induced by new technologies, and the aesthetic and communicative potentiality of new media tools. Lives and works in Sassari (Italy).
