Eric Fortune is an artist based in Columbus, Ohio. He graduated from Columbus College of Art and Design, where he was awarded the Prize for Best Senior after graduation. His work, full of emotional overtones, envelops his characters in their own worlds. Complex and dynamics paintings with a touch of surrealism that makes them fascinating. Eric was awarded the Jack Gaughan Award for Best Emerging Artists of 2009 and currently exhibits his work in several galleries such as Opera Gallery (NY), Copro Nason Gallery (LA), LeBasse Projects (LA), Roq La Rue Gallery (Seattle) and others.
